Are these maggots in hot bin?

Opened the hot bin this morning and found what I think are maggots! Usually only lots of worms in there! Do I need to do anything or will they just dissipate with time?

Certainly looks like maggots - they'll turn into flies soon and fly off.
There may be something in your bin that's attracting the wrong sort of flies

What kinds of things are you putting in your hotbin? Faeces, meat, fats....?

The official Hot Bin (tm) blurb says that you could add these things successfully to a Hot Bin, but I would not ever. I personally think it's significant mis-selling. To cope with those items you have to keep your bin at around 70C and that is hard and takes constant, almost daily, attention. Mine is more like 40oc, and I just add as I go. I don't put in any cooked food, fats, meat. Fly maggots are not a standard part of composting as they are more usually attacted to fresh poo and meat.
