Glad you made it to Corfu @D0rdogne_Damsel - time to relax now. Yoga by the pool sounds just the thing 🧘🏼♀️
We are now in Athens. The idea of coming in October was to see some of the sights in cooler weather. Forecast is for 31 degrees, so guess that plan backfired 🙄. However, we’ll be making the most of the warmth as it sounds as if home had turned very cold.
Covid headache is horrible @Pat E …..hope you are soon over the worst. And that @punkdoc gets to his birthday celebration. And everyone else has a great weekend, whatever you are up to 😀
Good October morning to you all and Good October afternoon to poorly @Pat E Some R&R and plenty of fluids for your head!
Amazing sunrise this morning - not if you are a shepherd as it was very red and orange!!
A restful day today as my back is sore after netting the brassicas and am going out tonight to a jazz evening with a meal beforehand. (No eating during the performance as the musicians don't like the "clink" of a dining audience.)
Perhaps not so restful, but a cycle on my magic bike to the SM for a couple of provisions.
Good morning everyone, well we had a decent amount of rain yesterday evening, but I think we need more. A nice bright start this morning. Best wishes to all especially those who are recovering from ailments.
Chicky 👍 😊 Bright sunshine here … OH is just going round the corner to the little place on the harbour that provides delicious breakfast baps to fetch ours while I wake up … this is the life … 😎
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I was just out of the shower when the electrician rang to say he'd be round in 2 minutes. Got dressed in record time! Still had wet hair. He explained what he'd done about the lighting in the kitchen. I'd found out most of it except for the light over the stove.
I'm going to Son 2's this afternoon to babysit until midday tomorrow. They have 5 little ones Have a load of ironing to do first.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Sorry you are feeling poorly @Pat E. We relapsed a bit yesterday - to the point where we decided not to go to a local concert we had bought tickets for. Hopefully those tickets were able to be used by someone else. (We didn't ask for a refund - just the tickets to be reused).
Feeling a bit better today. Except something has bitten me just under my arm. Last night I could feel something tickling me on my collar bone - grabbed it and threw it away from me - I think it was a spider. Whether that bit me or a mosquito, who knows, but it is red and itchy this morning.
Lovely sunny day here. The garden is calling but I'm having to ignore it as I have so much more work to do on my laptop.
Afternoon all. I went to sleep at 9.15 last night and woke at 4am. I pottered about and put some washing one and went back to bed at 6.15. I couldn't believe when I woke at 11.58.
Afternoon all. Thursday morning it was 4c when I got up,by lunchtime it was 20c. Overnight last night 14c,too hot....I closed the bedroom window because of the wind and rain. It's a very pleasant 18.8c out there now.
