My terrace has a new visitor(s), not exactly sure what they are, any ideas?
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.

I'd guess they're immature ladybirds

I think they're 3rd instar nymphs of the Southern Green Shieldbug

The photos on that site aren't the best for showing that stage but the pattern looks about right. It could be a species we don't get over here though but either way it's a shieldbug nymph of some kind and fairly harmless.
Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people

Thanks I have seen the green shield bugs here so makes sense, just never seen the juveniles before.
