Following the rain, flowers are popping out at random all over the place. It's almost like spring but with different flowers

    It is a strange season indeed. Here the weather has turned cold so I don't know how long these late blooms will last.

    Hardy geranium, penstemons , nasturtiums ,seems have been popping their heads up but geums have been lying low.

    I am not good with Geums. I have two, mrs Bradshaw and Tangerine something, they are always a bit meh and this year they really suffered even if I watered them. They are not dead, mind. Alyssum Dascia and Lobelia think it's July.  :)

    My diascia have perked up too. One of my favourite plants . I cut all the flowering stems and a bit of leaf a few weeks ago and they're in full bloom again

    Pretty much everything in my garden thinks it's their time to shine now! Does this sprautumn happen often?

    I don't remember one . Things are usually winding down by now
