New Raspberry canes

I've planted raspberry canes this year, do I prune them this year or leave them as they've not fruited? All the instructions I can find are about pruning after they've fruited

If they have not fruited this year, they are summer fruiters that fruit next year on this years wood. Leave them be and they should fruit next summer.
