Hi all. Question please. Is this normal as I have a few with holes in exactly the same place at the bottom. No rot or wriggling beasties. Some have no holes at all. Is it safe to eat? Thank you
Perfectly safe to eat ... some of the heirloom varieties have their idiosyncracies and pollination/weather and other factors can affect the way the fruit forms. The fruit may even have started to split and then healed
