Sadly a bit of Ash die back on the tree there I think, but look at that lovely rash of yellow flowers, do you know what they are please?

  • Thanks, it seems like an interesting old plant, not native to the UK and often mixed up with Corn Marigold.
    Edible, good for pollinators, repels insects and was in fact used for this very purpose in days goneby. Maybe i'll try plant some up by the house to deter the midges!

    It likes really damp marshy areas … hopefully it’s too dry near your house for it to flourish. 😊
