Apple infestation

Hi All,

I planted a Braeburn mini apple tree about 8 years ago.  It has done well and I get a good crop every year and, like others, a bumper one this year.  I do not treat my tree very well but it does alright left to its own devices. The only problem I have is the little beasties who also like apples.  See picture.  These have been with me from the beginning and I just cut out the nasty bits.  Other people are a bit more squeamish about imperfect fruit.  Is there anything I can do to stop this so that I can share my bounty?  Thanks.
