Installing Hedgehog cameras

Can I ask those of you with trail cameras for your hedgehog sightings, how far off of the ground have you installed them please?

Since they came out of hibernation, we've been feeding them within sight of the house security cameras and now have a hog house ready for the winter months. This is in a quiet part of the garden and will have a trail camera watching over it. Just not sure at what level to install it.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mine are both pretty much at ground level, they're set on bricks (one brick height).
I would take a photo but at the moment it's 38 degrees in the garden.
That's the best height l think, because it puts the camera at pretty much the same height at the hedgehog.
It also works best for longer distance, for when they're snuffling around the lawn for example.

  • Thanks for the help AnniD, really appreciated.
