He had a huge house and garden for about two years then suddenly is in a new place

    I was wondering the same. He seemed to have acres of beautiful gardens and a substantial house a year or so ago.

    Maybe he's letting it out on Airbnb :)

    Something to do with his wife, or family's, health I believe.

    I think exactly the same whenever I see his new garden. He must have been hurting, having to leave the old acres, after all the space and work he put in. I understand he had a horti school there, in Lincs.

    I like Adam as a GW presenter when he stands in for Monty and enjoy his clips on the show

    I thought he just took on a bit too much and needed to downsize. Probably serendipitous if he's paying a mortgage. It's no bad thing to see him garden a space that's at least somewhat realistic for 99% of viewers!

    apparently he had a revelation about his work life balance and decided to scale back

    feels like it's only part of the story though - he  probably just realised he was living beyond his means! That last place must have been a fortune - I seem to remember his daughters also had horses there and thinking "where is all the money coming from??"
    Horses are incredibly expensive to keep

    I'm glad it's not illness though - unless he hasn't gone public about family situations which is understandable

    He is also doing noticibly less on GW
