Four Mysteries
in Plants
Dear Members.
Four mysteries.
The first three images from my new garden are of a plant 6 to 8 foot tall, that annoyingly splays at all over the place, the flowers are tiny.

The second image is of a lily with narrow purple petals and a yellow streak radiating from its centre.

The third and fourth plants are from a friends garden.

Any tips welcome.

Yes the lily is hemeracallis or day lily which flowers daily.
The first mystery plant is in the first 3 images..
There may be bindweed leaves in the background...but we are told that the flowers are tiny...as can be seen in the flower buds in 2nd pic.

Bindweed is a perennial weed commonly found in the UK. There are two different types of bindweed, hedge bindweed (Calystegia sepium) and field bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis). Both are very similar in appearance and behaviour."
....................................................................
Calystegia sepium...common name Bindweed has big white flowers...see my pics below.
It is a climber and very invasive ..can be very hard to eradicate.
Convolvulus arvensis is similar ...flowers can be pink...see link.
