Yucca yellow white leaves

edited August 2022 in Plants

Florida, west facing, slightly moist rootball.  Have had this for a few months and just started to turn.  The other side is green and healthy.

Is the affected side the side that catches the sun through the window? It looks scorched to me.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Rather a small pot for the plant size. You can remove the dead/dying leaves and try turning the plant so it gets even light.  They tend not to like a very dry atmosphere but are usually pretty tough plants. Try to emulate their natural conditions as much as possible.
Consider re potting into a larger container and keep it out of scorching sun  :)

This side is the only affected side.

Everything I've read says they enjoy bright light. In fact prior to this open balcony location it sat in the same spot for 8 months with no problem.
  • It can occur due to root rot. kindly check the soil if it remains damp all the time due to overwatering.
