Identifying Plants (Again)

Can anyone identify the two plants below please?
first one, I was told it was Ladies Finger?
the second, I think is a tree sucker from the plum tree next door?
Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

    I have turned your  2nd pic.
    Not a sucker from the plum tree.

    The lower picture looks a bit like acanthus to me.  The top one does look as if it might be a fruit tree sucker...
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Thats great, thank you both. Weirdly I have been looking for Acanthus and couldn't find it anywhere!
