It does look like Agastache to me 
Do the leaves have any scent ?

Thanks @AnniD I think they may smell a bit minty…just had a rub. Is it a bit late for that to come up now? X

No, l wouldn't say so. I have some such as "Apricot Sprite" that start flowering around mid August, and others that have been in flower for several weeks
