Have they been short of water? They'll certainly wilt if they're in pots, and have dried out.
Are they inside? I can't decide. If so, and if you've had excessive heat, they would have benefited from some shading, plenty of ventilation, and the aforementioned water. Once they get dry, it can be hard to rehydrate them properly.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Sorry only responding now, I had actually been growing them from seeds and they were doing well until I moved them outside.

I realise what I had done wrong.  They weren't getting enough light, so moved them them to my lean too greenhouse but I think that must have shocked them.  Also as you suggest the small containers probably didn't help.

    Lesson learnt for next year.

    Thanks 😊
  • I am no expert but would think a tomato plant would need about 3 times as much soil as what`s in the plant pots .

Think along the lines of garden tubs 45cm wide per plant.

@cazsophieq2019. Moving them in their pots wouldn’t have caused them to die.
Just too smaller pots and not enough water.
Try again next year,  you’ll get there.   We all have failures when we start off.
