Unhappy paper rose

duffykatieduffykatie Posts: 10
Hi plant,
my paper rose is not happy, it had aphids of some kind last year (can’t remember exact problem) it’s had roses this year but hardly any leaves, should I prune it now? Or plant it in the ground maybe instead?
Thanks in advance for advice

Thanks, the picture does make the pot look shallow it’s not that bad I promise

  • When planting roses in pots the pot needs to be a minimum of 40cm wide by 40cm deep.  They also like to be kept moist and fed with a good quality rose feed.  You also need to make sure it’s planted in the right planting medium.  Use John Innes No 3 or you can get compost for roses.
