Squash

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what variety of squash I have grown please? The seeds were given to me to grow and all the plants are producing fruit. One plant has an orange squash which is getting very large but not quite ready yet (I have done the fingernail prod test on the skin) and the other plants have produced smaller orange fruit (not tested their ripeness yet).
I also grew the seeds from a small dark green squash which has produced a light greeny/grey colour fruit - please see my pictures.
Would love some feedback please!

Those look a lot like Uchiki Kuri … but they tend to be a bit more onion shaped.

Are they ‘saved seeds’ which could’ve been pollinated by another variety?

  • Hi Dovefromabove, the seeds were given to me by a friend who bought the squashes from Waitrose! She ate the squashes and saved the seeds for me…both the orange and green squashes were very small when she bought them but the seeds were mature inside hence my unidentified varieties. Both are very vigorous growers too.
Also, thanks for your comment on my sweetcorn, just hoping we get some ears soon.
