runner beans

Hi, my runner beans took some time to get going, and many have produced 2 or 3 shoots, which are wrapping themselves round each other, potentially squashing each other, possibly!
Should I cut them off to leave just 1 shoot, or leave them? They are only about 20cm tall.

Hello @shampers.reserve  and welcome to the forum 😊

Leave them be … they’ll be fine. Their grip is not that tight 😉

I purposely pick out the middle shoot to encourage side shoots from low down.
mine haven’t grown much yet,  our night temps haven’t got to double figures yet,  if and when they do, they’ll romp away.
