Can I make any use of these spent sage heads? Thanks!

    I know some people use sage leaves to rinse their hair. Don't know about the seed heads though.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I keep bunches of herbs in my kitchen to burn. I don’t use air fresheners or the like but I love the smell of burnt, dried rosemary or sage. Nice to use after the kitchen is cleaned down, or to throw in a bbq or on a bonfire. You don’t need much. The scent is in the smoke. Waft it about. Dance. Start again.

    You can put sage on a bbq as the coals are coming down, if you'd like some taste of that in the food. Or rosemary, or apple wood chips.
