Olive tree

Hi we have an olive tree which we’ve had for 10+ years but has been moved around and somewhat neglected in terms of pruning etc. As a result we have lots of smaller stems growing from the base of the plant. They are quite healthy but there are a number of them and they are quite thin and worried it’s not the best for the future of the plant. Is it okay to have more of an olive bush than a tree or should I be brave and prune all but the main stem and if so when is best to do that?

If you like it as an Olive bush, grow it that way.
Assuming you want to prune it, and are in the UK, then late Spring, early Summer is best.
How can you lie there and think of England
