Is this a begonia Boliviensis type? Would you pinch out the female flowers? I can see the triangular seed heads behind some flowers but unlike my other double flowered begonia, the dangling male and female flowers on this looks ones looks the same so the male doesn’t look more showy. So is it worth removing or just leave it and enjoy it?

I grow several varieties every year and I don’t pinch out the female flowers on any of them.

Thanks both- I’m so impatient, I pinched off and then asked about it on second thoughts. I’ll leave it alone in future. I was gifted it so no idea if its name to research looking after it.

I pinch out the females at first site,  they’ll bloom for a longer period and the males are better flowers.

That’s what I thought @Lyn but this particular variety, the male and female flowers look the same so is it still worth removing?

Enjoy the flowers, pick them off when they start to fade and before the pod gets big. 
I don’t  grow that type though.,  I wouldn’t grow them at all but they were my parents favourites and I feel a need to keep the the corms going as long as I can.  Silly really, but some will understand. 
As they die or rot or get eaten by weevils,  I won’t replace them.

I hope you don't  mind me jumping in but I'm  totally  confused 
This begonia is covered in these little flowers.  Will it ever produce anything interesting  or should I just use it as a foliage  plant

🤔 is it one of those houseplant type begonias or one sold as an outdoor plant for containers etc?

It's meant for outside. I bought it as one of those little individual plugs you can get in the spring.

This is the difference between male and females,  I can’t see what’s on you plant.
is this your plant?  Did you just lay it on top of the compost and not bury it too deep.
