Dierama dracomontanum - a smaller version of dierama. I wasn't sure if it is still alive, it has grass-like leaves and it was planted too close to other plants (I underestimated the spreading potential of parahebe). But it's flowering now.

Stipas look good right now, unfortunately the left one was flattened by my cat or one of her visiting friends.

..this rather lovely wild Hollyhock opened today.. the plant is about 6 feet tall and full of buds..
Alcea nudiflora... a native of Afghanistan and further east ..
