Could I have some advice on pruning a fig tree in a pot please. As I have never had one before and is now /years old and fruiting well

Bit difficult to advise categorically as you don't say how old the tree is or what size pot it is in.
I've only ever grown Figs in the ground but others have them in pots so hopefully they can advise.
A photo of the whole plant including the container size and your rough location and aspect will help too
