Chelsea garden show

I had an excellent time at the show.  It was absolutely beautiful!   After going to kew and to chelsea I think my biggest disappointment was seeing all the same plants we have for sale at our big box stores.  I think  the only plants I have that I didn't see at chelsea are the tropical plants I have from south America.

One of our popular plants we have here is Mandeville that I didn't see?   I also thought it was interesting to see all of of native trees in kew

@jamesholt I love your photo of Clematis, I recently posted a thread' Mini Clematis ' and I think that is what is shown in your photograph.

I have a book Monty Don's American Gardens, I often pick it up and look again at the  photographs of trees so varied and amazing. 

We often see the same plants on our travels, Chelsea this can give a false impression as some plants are force and some held back. I can remember visiting seeing a wonderful plant combination and realising I couldn't create the same in my own garden.

It is how plants are used that is important, one plant can be used in so many ways to show a gardener's personality.

It is so hot here!!!  We are having a heatwave not seen since 1980!

I was like what?  This guy at Chelsea is celebrating beavers?  Don't bring them back into uk.  Bring back the London beaver top hat! Lol
