Making plant food

I’ve seen a lot about making your own feed from comfrey or borage. I have green alkanet which runs riot in my garden. Can this also be used to make plant food?

Yes you can.  I'm about to do that very thing, filling a bucket with nettles & alkanet to make liquid feed.
