Tree sparrows were featured on Springwatch last night ... 🤔think it was last night.

Apparently the decline was something like 90% or more, in a forty year period from the 70s.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

No - that's a house sparrow. The grey on the top of the head is a giveaway.
Tree sparrows have a quite distinctive chestnut cap - no grey on it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
