Cleaning out bird boxes

I believe my little blue tits have now fledged (I will leave it another week to be certain) do I need to clean the nest box out now? I have bought a metal plate to put on so just wondering if I want to clear it out while I’m up the ladder!

I think the advice is not to clean them until Sept at the earliest
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
