Small Tree

I’m looking for advice on buying a couple of small trees different varieties about 150/180cms for my smallish garden.
Position full sun/partial shade in summer, shade in winter.
They will be planted in a deep raised bed.
I want a real looking tree, not a busy shrub.
Suggestions please on types and potential suppliers.

    A lot depends on how small you mean by small.

    Crocus have some good filters on their site - I'm not recommending them to buy from as such, but you may get some ideas-

    Patio fruit trees? Useful as well as pretty.
    Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
