Is this sisyrinchium or pale yellow eyed grass?

    I've grown this plant for about 30 years and this is the first year I've heard the name Pale Yellow-eyed Grass. I'm sure I've heard another common name though, just can't remember what it was. :)

    I've heard satin flower too, but there are quite a few other plants (eg Libertia) also called satin flower, so I stuck with Sisyrinchium striatum (have to use the full name as I also have Sisyrinchium californicum)

    That may be just the right plant for a sunny spot I need to fill. Completely forgot about sisyrinchiums.😎

    I've seen it referred to as 'Aunt May'.

     Aunt May is the variegated form even better.

    I don't think I've ever seen the variegated form, nor have I heard its name before. Looking at photos, I think I prefer the bog standard one.
