New turf grass

Hello, I'm not sure which category to put this under but attached is a back garden newly turfed. Please can anyone give advice on maintenance of and to when it can have it's first cut ? Was laid last week.

    Hello Liza, l can't see your photo for some reason,  but one of the things that it's going to require is a lot of watering  :)

    The bulk of the maintenance for new turf is watering. If you don't have regular, decent rainfall, you'll need to give it a thorough soaking every day. 
    It won't need cut until it's properly rooted and is around 3 or 4 inches in height. Never take too much off it - about a third of the height at any time, especially early on. You can lower the height once it's established and is growing well, but if you're in a drier area, it's better left a bit longer, especially over summer  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
