Marconi Peppers

I tried to grow these last year and failed.
This year, I had heated seed trays. I sowed them at the end of February, and all other chillies/ peppers beginning of March.
 They have romped away. Repotted twice. Final stations soon.
Is it the variety?
You can see the difference between them and their counterparts.
Anyone else growing Marconi?

Hi Penny. Not growing Marconi (haven't heard of it, what's it like?) We have got exactly the same thing going on with jalapeños though.
