Lawn mower cut height

I have recently purchased a Al-Ko pro 125 mower. The cut height is set to its lowest setting but still misses the smaller daises. Anyone know of an adjustment to lower the blade? I considered putting a flat washer under the blade to lower it but is this a good idea?
