GW hive mind - can you help with plant ID please?

This is driving me mad. It's sprung up in the last few weeks, but I can't for the life of me ID it... Top left is a forget-me-not flower, for scale. Thank you in advance!

    Possibly the top of a linaria?

    I did wonder about that but the top looks too bushy. Maybe I need to let it grow for another couple of weeks and see if it elongates  :smiley: And if it blooms I guess that will help!

    Could it be a liatris?

     I would love it to be a liatris or echium. I guess only time will tell... @nutcutlet here is a slightly better picture. She has a little sister to the right :-)

    I don't think so, but I can see why you say this, the leaves are similar. It would be lovely if it was!
