Just wanted to show off this amaryllis

I got this bulb as a Christmas gift about 14 years ago. I only barely do any of the things you're supposed to do to encourage it to bloom at a particular time, I just put it in a cupboard when I remember. But it still blooms every year.

It has produced a few offshoots that are in separate pots but they haven't shown any signs of flowering. I might plant one of them out in the garden as an experiment next year.

    Lovely...the subtle colours are very nice, especially the green in the middle.

    It's entirely down to benign neglect. I think I have repotted it once. I might do it again once it dies back so that I can put it in a more attractive pot.
