When to feed Hostas?

I have these two Hostas in pots, and have managed to keep the slugs at bay. There appear to be flower buds forming.
Would they benefit from feeding, and if so, when do I start?

I have never fed Hostas. @Hostafan1 Do you feed your please?
Looking forward to my new garden with clay soil here in South Notts.

Gardening is so exciting I wet my plants.

I used to chuck some feed on mine every now and then when in pots.
Now in the ground I don't think I'll bother.

I've never fed them either - pots or ground. If the soil's relatively decent in the pot, they shouldn't need it.
I don't really grow any now though - just another slug magnet. I have one which is reasonably repellent by itself.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I've never fed mine. It amazes me that they come back bigger and better every year even though they're in pots. If I fed them, they might get a taste for it 😉
    In London. Keen but lazy.
