Olive Tree - Leaves are going brown

I have two large Olive Trees in pots, this one is going brown, the other one is
ok, could you give me some advice please.

Hi Tania.

Some more photos would be helpful - say of the whole tree.  

In the ground or in a pot?  Too dry or too wet (drainage)?

It could do with a haircut - maybe too many tiddly branches, maybe it needs cutting in the middle.   Never hurts to cut out dead or overcrowding branches.

Stick a kebab metal skewer or piece of thick wire down through the soil and see what it comes out like.  If it's wet at the bottom, it may not have sufficient drainage, although if you bought the tree in this pot, it should have been correctly potted.  Of course, if the skewer comes out dry, you need to water it.

You have a mature olive tree that has been pruned right back to the nitty gritty and is starting again albeit not too well.

I would still trim the top.

And I would go back to the place where you bought it and seek advice.
