Looking for Candelabra Primula

ren.bren.b Posts: 164
I want to get some Candelabra Primula but no-one locally has them and I'm wary of buying online - I did find a site with a good bundle deal but it's in Ireland.  They also seem to come 'bare root' and as I have never bought anything that's not in a pot I'm a bit unsure what this means (if anything) with regards to how to care for it when it arrives - can you plant them immediately or do they need soaking in water or anything?
Has anyone got any idea where I can get some of these or possibly some Primula Beesiana or P Harlow Carr Primula that don't cost the earth?

Hi, Pretty sure that J.Parkers has them for sale (as small plants not bare root).

    Thanks Alan.

Where do you live? Last time I went to Harlow Carr at this time of year, the garden centre had loads in pots.

I just ordered from J Parker - got some bargains (I think) they had a double up offer for £1 extra so instead of getting x6 I will have x12.  See the screenshot of the trolley.
Unfortunately, Penny's Primulas were a bit pricey and didn't have the one's I wanted.

I was delighted to find a 3 pack of 'Lobelia Queen Victoria' (saw it elsewhere for a lot more money). Also got x5 free Agapanthus plants but am slightly confused about the plant spacing guide they have (see screenshot) which says 'Plant Spacing 30cm).
But if you look at their photo of them in a pot those plants don't look 30cm apart - I thought Agapanthus like to be close together anyway?

I'm now wondering if all the other plant space measurements are correct, will be planting everything I'm buying into the ground and want to get the Primula in big swathes but they are recommending 30cm apart for those too - is that right?
Any advice would be highly appreciated as always. <3
