It's hard to tell without a closeup pic. They may be scale insects, can you lift one off a leaf and have a look? If there's stuff that looks like cotton wool underneath, then it's scale insects (they're bit like tiny limpets). If it has legs, it's not

I have those on the underside of convovulus leaves. I gave up on Google. Couldn't Identify them. Little hard gold things. You end up with pictures of jewellery..
Thanks , I've been away for a week but before I went scraped most of them off and I sprayed soapy water on the leaves . Just checked they're gone completely. Thanks again

Are they clustering on tender young shoots, or are they on more mature leaves all over the plant or just on a few leaves?
