Fungi ID, please?

We have found this fungi growing amongst wood chippings from the chain saw. It looks interesting, but does anyone know what it is please, whether we should dispose of it and whether it is poisonous? We live in West Devon, UK.

    Looks like it could be Lycogala epidendrum - actually a microgastrid amoeba :smiley:

    It grows on damp, rotting wood. 

    Not 100% sure as the fruiting bodies normally only appear from June - Nov, so maybe someone else will be able to confirm or correct my thoughts!
