This has sprung up in a border, never having been seen in our garden before.  It's  filling a gap at the back of a border, between two shrub roses. I can't see any info that says it will become rampant. So, safe to leave or remove asap??

Do you like it? Just an annual, pulls out easy

This pops up every year for me in one part of my border. I don't know where mine came from either, there isn't any anywhere nearby, so probably hitched a lift on another plant.
Pretty little thing when not much else is flowering, then just disappears till next year. Looked exquisite when decorated with raindrops :)

  • @nutcutlet. I like it. As Buttercupdays says, it looks quite pretty and not much else is flowering just now. I shall keep it 😊. Thanks both.

    Could it be dicentra formosa?
  • Ooh @SuAtoo. It would be lovely if it was. I shall keep an eye on how the flowers develop 😊

How strange. It looks like something I was asking an identity for recently and people thought it might be pignut. Mine is like a small version of your plant but I’ve noticed it in my lawn too.
