Indentify please

This has appaeared in my garden and i cannot find out what it is , it is apparox 60cm and has small leaves, looks healthy but no idea what it is

    Looks like goat willow to me. If it is, you don't want it. Grows into a huge tree.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I agree ... Salix caprea aka Goat Willow ... they have seeds like thistledown that float on the air and often find their way into pots and containers where they grow, leading folk to believe they're something they've planted or bought ... they're good for wildlife but grow very large and unless you have several acres of paddocks or wildlife gardens you really don't want it.  :)

    It did not have catkins that i noticed
    Still too young to have the pussy willow catkins.
    Male catkins below.
    Recommend that you get rid of it before it turns into a tree.

    It's not just the large size to be wary of -- willows are not good to grow near drains or walls.
