ID - another try
This plant self-seeded three years ago. Attempts at ID were inconclusive last two years so I'm hoping for better luck this year
It's sprouting at the base this year so I'm thinking it might be a shrub.
It looks a bit like ribes to me but the leaves don't smell. Should they?
Grateful for any suggestions

Just googled it . Wow! Better than a ribes but I quite like those too. Should I nip the top off?
I suggest you plant now in the garden.
It will do much better in the soil than a pot.
I love them for the flowers and the fab berries.
Always something to learn on here.
