Could you help identify these plants I saw today. 1. Looks exotic 2. Very soft leaf. 3. Bog plant. Thanks.

I could well be wrong but my guess would be.
1. Trillium
2. Artemisia
3. Skunk cabbage
I expect the other posters will prove me wrong!

My skunk cabbage have hardly any leaves yet, Just the vivid yellow spathes. They'll be at tall as me eventually, the picture makes those look small!

RHS have been fighting to keep skunk cabbage under control!

UK Gov have had it on a list of invasive plants that are not native to UK for ages.

I know that, mine was planted years ago, before it was listed I think.
I make sure to remove the spadix before it can seed and still enjoy the impressive leaves

Unfortunately, I've just spotted some patches of skunk cabbage at the edges of the little burn along the road from me. It's never been there before
I agree with the IDs of the others too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
