Penstemon cuttings

Hello all. I have penstemon cuttings.  The roots are starting to show through the pot. Should I pot them on or leave them as they are and plant them out next month?  Also do I nip out the tips or not?  Many thanks

I would leave them in their pots and plant out early May.
It is worth pinching out the tops, which can then be used as further cuttings.

The ones on the left look as if they could do with pinching out. I would leave them for now as well, but if you don't get them planted within a month or so they'll need potting on.

I planted out one of my bigger cuttings last week. The next morning it was all gone but a small stem left in the ground, despite all the belief that snugs and snails don't touch them.... I guess young shoots are just too tempting!  :|
