Hi guys, I want to make my garden more attractive and stylish. Could you please share your lawn pics just to get some garden design ideas?

I’m no garden designer. It shows.

But one thing I’ve learned is that if your garden is on a hill don’t put the compost heap at the bottom. 😥

My tip is to make your lawn a bold shape as that has more impact than something irregular ... round, oval, square etc ... fit the beds and borders around it.

You should be able to find lots of different lawn shapes on line to fit your space. I agree keep it simple an bold.

Building a garden is very personal. It's not quite the same as installing a boiler.

@JennyJ Love your garden.  Simple design always shows plants off to their best.

My suggestion would be think of how your garden will look in autumn and winter. That's what you will see half the year and plan and plant for that. It is very easy to get spring/summer right.

Here's my back garden which is an awkward shape (narrow pointy triangle). I have three circles - one slate chippings, one lawn and small one of blocks, and the rest is borders.

The front garden - another circular lawn with planting all around.

And the side/corner section - the lawn here is a more irregular curved shape.

As you can see my "designs" are simple, heavy on plants and light on hard landscaping and other features. Others will prefer the opposite approach, it's up to you to decide what you like and have the time to care for.
That look attractive and beautiful and also help me to choose the best design for my lawn. Thank you so much for sharing your lawn images very helpful for me.
