What is happening to my snapdragon seedlings?

Sazz101Sazz101 Posts: 245
Hello. Over the course of a week my snapdragons are wilting and dying after developing a strange light pattern on the leaves:

They progress from the bottom pic to the top pic in 2 days. Does anyone know what’s wrong? Thank you in advance.

    Looks like frost damage.
    Also they are in far too big pots for the size of the seedlings.

    How can you lie there and think of England

    @Sazz101, did they recover?

    Hello @enceladus. No :( But I figured out that it was my own fault. In my haste to recycle last years compost I mixed it too heavily with fish blood and bone. Everything got burned and the seedlings for the fancier hydrids like Chantily Purple, Orange and Bronze didn’t make it. Live and learn :smiley:

    Aw sorry to hear that! I might pot the rest of mine up in spent compost then.

    I would say the pot size is fine, it makes no difference
