Securing growhouse stakes

Just assembled my new growhouse but not sure how I'm meant to securely fasten the string to these stakes that hold the cover in place, any pointers please?

Not a scoob where the metal bracket with the holes is meant to go.

The groundpeg sits in the loop in fig.3 Most tents use a similar arrangement.

Ah yes got it now- although it seems quite easy to lose the tension, the string that came with this growhouse isn't great. Knots don't really want to bind and hold either.
