Plants
This is growing all over my garden and I don't remember it from last year. I suspect its a weed! pictures of the flower which looks like a stunted dandelion.
Must stop buying more plants, repeat, must stop buying....

The only suggestion I can come up with -- a sort of struggling oxeye daisy?

Agree with
@Woodgreen
.Leaves look like ox eye daisy but the flowers look a bit stunted.

Thinking of
@nutcutlet
reminded me … I think it’s one of the Fleabanes … a native plant but quite rarely seen nowadays.
Either Pulicaria vulgaris or
P. dysenterica … Nutcutlet will know which.

@Dovefromabove
it does indeed look like fleabane, that explains the 'stunted' flower.

It usually grows in wetland … boggy peaty soil … maybe there were some seeds in some compost?
