Plant id please :)

This is growing all over my garden and I don't remember it from last year. I suspect its a weed! pictures of the flower which looks like a stunted dandelion.



 
Must stop buying more plants, repeat, must stop buying....

    The only suggestion I can come up with -- a sort of struggling oxeye daisy?

    Agree with @Woodgreen.Leaves look like ox eye daisy but the flowers look a bit stunted.

    Thinking of @nutcutlet reminded me … I think it’s one of the Fleabanes … a native plant but quite rarely seen nowadays. 

    Either Pulicaria vulgaris or
    P. dysenterica   … Nutcutlet will know which.

    @Dovefromabove it does indeed look like fleabane, that explains the 'stunted' flower.

    It usually grows in wetland … boggy peaty soil … maybe there were some seeds in some compost?
