Roses with red leaves

Hello all, I’m wondering which of your roses have the most striking red foliage either in spring or autumn? Catalogues and websites rarely mention this, but I find it’s quite an asset in a rose. I am growing ‘Morletii’, which is good for red foliage at both the start and end of the growing season. I also have fond memories of Rosa californica ’Plena’ and Rosa nitida for autumn red. I’d love to know people’s recommendations for spring red foliage, particularly on some shrubs or bush roses.

  • I was just looking at this, this morning.

Fountain is very striking (foliage is a little crumpled with the frost, it isn't normally like this), the photo doesn't really do it justice.

This is a new one for me Candlelight/Global Beauty which surprised me with its redness. To be seen how long it lasts.
