Garden shows this year-2022

Hi all, I am being tempted to buy tickets for Malvern Show in May. I used to go years ago with ex husband and it was a wonderful day out. Tickets are £25 each so not cheap but thinking of going with youngest daughter. Just wondering if anyone else is planning on visiting garden shows this year?
Something nice to plan for on such a wintry Sunday.

We've been to the Malvern Spring Show a few times. We have friends in Malvern. Shows have been on hold because OH is still waiting for his hip replacement. The last one we went to was the Norfolk Show in 2019 and OH found the walking hard then. Since then he bought an electric buggy but then there was Covid.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm thinking of going to gardeners world spring fair. Not been before, I've been to the one in June and enjoyed that. Anyone been to the spring fair?

Due to family commitments, l can't see it happening this year, but l look forward to hearing about other people's visits (hopefully with photos :) )
Malvern is my favourite out of all the shows. It's such a lovely setting and plenty of room even in pre Covid times.

Vote here for Malvern too. I enjoy it more than Chelsea.  Not sure if I'm going this year.  Hubby and Bestie are both having mobility issues at the moment and not sure that either daughters would be interested.  We'll see.

Is that the one in Malvern?

Not sure if the above post was for me @debs64 but it is the one at Malvern.  I'm not keen on the Gardener's World show anymore, last time I went it was too commercialized and very noisy due to some awful band playing in the background.

I think Malvern is more of a “gardeners” event. So much to buy and mostly outdoors and less “celebrity and show garden”
I like the show in June and as fiancé is a chef the good food bit keeps him happy too but it’s not my favourite and of course plants bought in early May can be planted out and enjoyed the same year.

We only went to the Malvern Spring Show once, many years ago, but I'll never forget it. So relaxed, a spacious layout, very helpful nursery folk and growers. The people attending seemed to be gardeners, unlike at some shows. I hope to return, maybe next year.

The Gardeners' World Spring Fair and Toby Buckland's Garden Festival are both on this weekend (final day today for Toby's Festival).
Here's hoping any forum members visiting either event will kindly post some photos  :)
